Gary Hall Jr. travels the world passionately
sharing his love for the sport of swimming and his experiences
as a diabetes patient
with children,
parents, coaches, doctors, and executives. He is frequently a
guest on television and radio talk shows and makes appearances
as a motivational speaker and celebrity host.
Most recently Hall has been featured in The New York
Times, two feature stories distributed by The Associated Press,
ESPN's Cold Pizza, NY1, ABC Sports Radio, ESPN Radio, Southwest
Airlines' In-flight Magazine, Scholastic Magazine, The American
Scholar, many diabetes publications, and countless other media
outlets throughout the world - most prominently in Brazil, Italy,
Austria, Australia, Japan, and Germany.
During Olympic time in years past, Gary has also appeared
twice on: The Rosie O'Donell Show and the "Tonight Show" with
Jay Leno. He has also been a guest on The Today Show, "The Late Late
Show" with
Craig Kilborn, "Late
Night" with Conan O'Brien, The Best Damn Sports Show, "Live" with
Regis and Kathy Lee,, The Olympic Show with Dan Hicks, among
many others.
Long after Gary retires he will continue as a spokesperson,
promote the sport of swimming through The Race Club, and provide
motivation to people with diabetes.
